Recently Kevin Nash left TNA after Bound for Glory, when his contract expired and both sides could not agree on a new deal. It has been widely reported by various different websites that he had signed a new deal for another one year deal, but this was recently denied by Kevin Nash on his twitter, hinting that he wanted to join WWE for a place in the Royal Rumble or contemplating retirement. TNA and Kevin Nash are said to have however come to terms on a new deal or are close to agreeing a new deal, leading to a possible return to TNA in the New Year. He could return, with Sting fighting the corner of Dixie Carter in a power struggle storyline with Immortal.
Joey Styles is no longer a contracted on air talent with the WWE. He is however still employed with the company working behind the scenes on the WWE website. Joey Styles is expected to be allowed to start making a few non-competitive commitments, ventures and independent bookings outside of the WWE umbrella. Joey Styles is already selling his own merchandise using his own name, as WWE does not have copyrights to it. He will not be allowed to appear in TNA.
