So it's been a while since I've actually had a chance to read anything good about wrestling or even watch it on tv. Seems being at a tax office is keeping me from one of the few things I love... Wrestling. But it's cool I got to start a good book by Brett Hart and I liked it. Too bad it was due the week after I got it. In reading the beginnings of Brett's life I see how he compares to other people I know myself. He's one in a huge family and they all pretty much have something to do with wrestling ie married to a wrestler or are one themselves or were a promoter of wrestling. Stu was one hard-assed guy all around but still showed, in his own way, how much he loved the business and his family. I don't think any of his children have a hatred twards him but more of a reluctance to completely love the guy. I can understand somewhat why that is and yet they still adored the man that gave the wrestling world the Hart name. How people know who they are not just because they know who Stu was but because of the 'product' he produced in his sons and his daughters husbands and their children. I think that Brett has the most heart out of all of them to tell the truth from his perspective on what was going on while he was young and with his dad and how he got his feelings twards the wrestling world. I know some people will be pissed at this little tidbit that I've said but come on people are you really going to tell me that if you read any wrestlers book you won't read the real story on how they feel about their parents? I will be getting that book again and finishing it but first it's going to have to be tax season then getting out the reading glasses and reading between the lines of all the books I get. BTW not only is Matt Hardy my fave but I've always had a crush on Brett Hart for longer than I can remember and let this mark tell you this... if he ever came to Ohio I'd be the first one in line for the kissing booth!!
Thanks, From a 'Marks Perspective" Kim
